I hope we don't get some more onerous posts from those insular Busse fans.:D

Man im missing all the fun today, this is great.

Did you use yours yet or are you Worldwooding it?

I got tired of trying to keep a bunch of knives pretty. Every knife I own right now is now considered a user. Even my 1 of a kind DropManDU. All 4 knives I photographed last also got used last night. Hey I got DRUNK, then they all wanted to cut some $hit up

I think mine is going to be a safe queen unless my son wants it.

Which knife you talking about ??

Here is a picture.

NICE!, man that thing is a great chopper, I was lucky enough to get to chop some wood with a 1 of 300 and was highly impressed. It did circles around the NMFSH. COngrats on a great score, even if you dont use it, you can feel confident you have something that COULD chop thru anything you needed.

I wonder if Psyop can make me a combo sheath for these.

Y'know, I bet he could if you ask him real nice. Better strap a couple bricks to your other leg when you wear/carry it though, or the weight will pull you off-balance and you'll walk around in circles all day :p

I think I will have to put away the bourbon now.

Sippin, brainstormin' and takin' pictures... there's a lot worse ways to spend a Saturday afternoon. ;)

Just got these in today... Now to decide if im keeping 1 or both of them... I need a chopper so 1 might have to go towards that, but the ontario is really comfortable with these scales, and the DPX is just really cool... so i dunno yet.

Nice knives WW. What are the blade lengths? The only things they need are blood grooves and some jimping.:D

Could be a pot-lifter.

I don't understand the notch in the top of the knife on the DPX.

The top of the blade is a bottle opener. the handle works as a prybar or cap lifter.

The DPX
Overall Length: 7.625"
Blade Length: 3.125"
Blade Thickness: 0.19"
Blade Material: 1095

The Ontario Tak-1 Specs:
Blade Length: 4-5/8"
Overall Length: 10"
Blade Thickness: 0.19"
Blade Material: 1095 Carbon Steel
Blade Grind: Full Flat Grind
Micarta Handles
Made in USA

TAK1 is a good knife.
I had one in carbon and traded it off - realized the mistake plenty quick and replaced it with a D2 model.
Then the BK16 came out and the TAK doesn't get used any more.

I didnt even know they made it in D2, thats pretty awesome.

Out of every knife I had and sold, the one i regret selling the most is my BK11. I sold my KDSH and regretted it BIG time the same night I sold it, so I bought another one that same night LMAO but i have thought about getting another bk11 a million times, but it wouldnt be the same as the one I sold and I havent seen K9 around in forever, im not sure if he is still working on Beckers or not. But at least i know the bk11 made it to a great home.

I sent a knife to UP ARMORED for one of my Aussie buddies and I cant wait to see what he can do. I might have him hook up another BK11 for me depending on how I like the work.

I think you are right! Pouring the bourbon again.

I'll have one with ya! I'm doing yardwork in very small doses, taking a break about every 20 minutes to have a sip or three and talk silly on the forums. :D

Speaking of bottle-openers and brainstorms... hoo boy, there's something cool coming down the pike. I can say no more at this time. :o ;)
