Buy the membership to Knife Rights. It is such a good cause. As knife knuts it is especially important to us.I really, really want one of those new ZT0566's. But can't wait a damn year to get one!!! Looking at pushing the "buy" button on a 0560 right now but need to look into the carry laws for my state first. Maybe be too big of a blade. I'm thinking about also sending out a donation to knife-rights. I know Ethan Becker and a lot of others on this site are supporters and I'm seeing now how important the cause is. I hate how grey and wishy-washy the laws are right now.... I've got enough to worry about right now as it is I don't want to stress about which tools I can bring with me on a daily basis.
is it one of the working-grade HB-made axes?
I have the 15" hatchet re-hafted on a 28" handle. The head is about 1-1/2lb. Good tool.
Took about an hour max to tune the edge with files and a stone.
Just found out by text, that a guy I know apparently committed suicide. Damn man. I worked with his wife, and he came in frequently. Hard to believe: http://www.sj-r.com/breaking/x1578914792/Train-strikes-pedestrian-in-Curran
Thanks brother, appreciate it. Unfortunately, it seems like it's becoming more commonplace these days. Have known many people that have done it, my own brother included.Sorry to hear about that Dubz. Its hard to understand what's on a persons mind when they think its so bad that suicide is the only answer. Very sad.
Just get a new 2 and start freshI was thinking about getting a leather sheath for me clipped BK2, and getting wood scales for it as well. Of course, sanding off the stripes off the blade. Hmmm...

Looks like a good time Wambo. Our fire dept had its annual ice fishing tournament today. They drill something like 10,000 holes in the morning for fishers to use in the afternoon. They have prizes for the fish caught and a raffle too. Hundreds of prizes including 2 pickups, a car, atv's, and tons more. I had a ticket, but forgot to get the day off, so no fishing for me, but I'll still be entered in the raffle.
Here is a link to the prizes. http://dvl.midco.net/dlvfd_fishingtourney/29th ANNUAL DEVILS LAKE.htm
I thought you were supposed to be in some kind of shelter when ice fishing so you don't freeze your nads off!

Hey Wambo, is that a little cast iron griddle? Nifty looking rascal.
