Gun nuts that want an interesting and entertaining book to read check out "guerilla gunsmithing". Some interesting stuff. Not practical to the everyday but a fun read nonetheless.

I noticed a post called weapons for dogs and sat here for about 10 seconds wondering why the hell someone would want to arm a dog before I realized he meant weapons to defend against dogs. The coffee just wont clear the PBR haze today. Headed out to rub snow in my face next.

you're trying to dye black grivory?
how can you tell if it works or not?
try wiping it down with acetone and hitting it with krylon?

Got my military compression stuff sack in today. Really nice unit: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ompression-Stuff-Sack?p=10561575#post10561575

Where did you find that in green? All mine are black. Wish the military sleep systems compressed down to that size. Even compressed they are still the size of a honda.

PM sent. They have different colors. It was made for the military sleep system, for sure. This bag wouldn't do much for a smaller bag. The bighorn is a fairly good sized bag.

LOL
That is fantastic.

5' 18"

Jeeze thats only ehhh 9 inches taller than me ..... when I'm well rested and having a tall day.

well when you're freakishly tall you get asked ''how tall are you??'' by random strangers about 5 times a day...so I like to answer this way, love the look of confusion on their face until it sinks in.

kinda irritates me really. I dont go up to abnormally short people and ask them how short they are.

I worked in clubs for years. I worked with some massive dudes. I had a boss that was 6'11" but claimed he was 6'9", and another guy was 6'8". I'm so used to it now that they don't look tall to me any more. Still was funny to watch em pick up average sized guys(like myself) and carry em around like a teddy bear :)

you should just start picking them up and shaking them

LOL the thought crosses my mind on occasion. I'm gettin more mellow as I age (in some regards).

You bounced? Was a fun job most of the time, just always hated karaoke nights lol bunch of drunk people who think they can sing, about like being stuck in the American Idol auditions ;)

Yeah, I bartended for 9 years and worked the door for a while too. I started to hate bartending, and decided to do the security thing. I worked at a couple clubs, one downtown. It was fun for a while, I got to see a lot of crazy shyt, and my tolerance to OC/CS went way up. I loved when the cops started spraying and everyone would freek, and I'd just sit back and laugh :) I'm only 5'11" and 190, so I had to be crafty, the big fellers could just bear paw people but I had to fight smarter.

the Bear-Men are for the door, to impress folks. A lot of actual floor bouncers aint that ''big''. Goes back to the ''aint the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog'' thing.

My Mom's oldest brother is 5'6'' and weighed 135 tops as a young man, but he also boxed in the Navy. My other uncle would always start fights for him in bars with big bruisers (they were in a honkytonk band) then make bets on the outcome. LOL they rarely lost any money
