Walther PPQ, handled it at SHOT, will become the best sidearm ever. I really think so, if they make 45ACP. If not, it will replace the glock and xd for best polymer frame, its that good.

Walking Dead, freakin' awesome.

Biscuit is in Alabama, heading home today.

Clich,
It's totally full of foreshadowing. You are so right. As much as I can't stand the kid, I love what they did with the Carl situation. It really adds to the tension rising in the group. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what they are building up to.

I'm sitting down to watch it now guys so don't hold back on my account. I'll be back! ( after a burrito and the show) :)

I need to get hold of one of them. I have long considered the Walther P99 to be as good or better than other polymer guns, but highly underrated. The PPQ seems to be a P99 with an upgraded trigger mechanism. Good to see that people are finally catching on.

Nothing feels better in hand than Becker handles and Walther grips, except maybe boobies.

A pic to prove my point.

It was cool to see the damned if you, damned if you don't part of this episode.if Carl doesn't follow rick to the barn and stop the execution, the gunshot would have brought the walker to the camp, but since he did stop the execution the walker still killed the old guy. Carl's fault no matter what. He should have popped him when he had the chance. Also now daryls gun is now lost in the woods unbeknownst to him. So I see a problem for him in the future when he goes for it and its not there. Also, the kid they didn't shoot is supposed to escape.

Walther PPQ, best gun I've laid hands on in a looooong time. Trigger reset is next to nothing, dead nuts accurate right out of the case and runs like a sewing machine

I will check this one out as well. My noobness thought that my only options were Glock, M&P, and XD. Man, at this point I've spent almost as much as a pistol in rentals (and rental required, marked up factory ammo that you are required to buy). Maybe I should just pick one and call it a day :P

Good to hear that the 'heads in tornado country are ok.

Yeah that episode was pretty crazy. The old guy had a gun I think it's his own fault that he got attacked. Kind of ironic that he has been the one on guard and he ends up the one getting killed. I think its cool to see Carl's character developing a little more, like you said i think him loosing darels gun is going to come back to bite him in the ass. wouldnt it be some crazy shit if Darels brother was in the group that that Captive was from. I can see him coming back into the picture at some point.

Well, in the books, Carl is supposed to have killed Shane by now. It was actually supposed to happen when Shane drew down on Rick in the woods. In the book, Carl smokes his ass. Merl will return, a character that intense is not gone.

Randall the captive is bad medicine. He should have been head shot while his leg was still through that wrought iron fence. Smoked. Done and done. But where's the drama in that?

Things are getting ready to get hairy in the third season, as, walkers are not the only baddies cruisin' the fields. Marauders are going to be the biggest threat, and this little band of 30 or so, are going to be a pushover, compared to what they are supposed to get into, according to the books.

Plus, we got Michonne as well. I bet she'll show up in the next couple of episodes, someone has to replace Dale.

i'm rather partial to the XDMs right now, but i've fiddled with the PPQ a bit, and if i can get a bigger backstrap, it'd be okay.

all the controls seem nicely ambidextrous; magazine release is a little weird but seems well thought out.

now, takedown... that seems a little fiddly, but perhaps you figure it out over time.

will have to shoot one for a while when i get a chance.

trigger reset is very short. not bad. still like the XDMs - potentially more accurate for my needs. "we shall see" again:>

Zombies are a dumb concept.

Kidding!:D I watch the show religiously. I haven't read the comic/graphic novels but I do wonder why they don't follow them more closely. I know they have to make some changes, it just seems they're taking too many artistic liberties.

I love the mag release.

Hmm, I thought takedown was just like a Glock.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of shooting a Springfield, yet.
