I do like bullpups in general but they do have some downsides as well. Everything is a compromise. Supposed to be a new version of the Tavor coming soon with a different mag release to prevent accidentally dropping the mag. The Tavor is the most appealing and has the most aftermarket support. The new Kel-tech RDB looks promising but Kel-Tech has a problem with QC on production guns, mainly new models. I wish they'd scale back and get that squared away before trying to bring new, and admittedly very cool, products to market.
not many downsides at all
none?
two stage trigger. 1 minute trigger pack swaps. match to infantry and back.
best of class optic possibles (full length low axis rail). amazing ergos. balanced. wow.
i lurve it.
now, i WANTED to love a lot of others, but they had issues: esp with magazines.
the tavor loves all mags.
maint is super easy. 1 pin to drop everything inside.
potential to convert to 9mm, though honestly, i'd either buy one that way, or get a different platform (MPX pistol with tactial wrist stock)
well, there is "tavor face"... $35 fixes that.
yeah, the RDB is interesting. the pre-cursor was also interesting.
now, the bullpup shotgun - 24+1 shorty shells - THAT is VERY interesting. mmm. yeah.
CMR-30 is also c'est amusent.
