We still do stockings and my kids are 35. Good stuff. I got some very thoughtful stuff so far oh...and the flu. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas all! Sorry to hear you and the baby were up all night TBL and sorry to hear about the flu Tradewater.

Im 40 and my wife handed me a stocking filled with goodies this morning, she also gave me a bottle of crown royal...... I ought to be good for the day! Lol.

Sorry for you guys that are feeling shitty today.

Rum in the punch makes for a much more festive Christmas dinner.

This is me this morning... wielding the Kragle and gluing all my son's Lego together.

And because You are all wonderful influences.... I'm getting the rum out. I've been awake for 4 hours... I'm behind on my Christmas cheer!

Kay made me some kind of ancient family recipe hot toddy and by golly it's working. That woman sure takes good care of me. I should have got her something for Christmas.

Nah...shouldn't spoil her.

There was beer and beef jerky in my stocking... Breakfast has been taken care of.

Also the bit extender for my Leatherman Surge! winning.

Definitely shouldn't spoil her! She might start to get ideas if you do!

I found the applejack (at the second liquor store) I'll be damned if that stuff isn't amazing! I also got a bottle of Dickel, just cause when all else fails, a li'l Dickel do ya!

Exactly. A present or two and she'll start thinking she can leave the kitchen just whenever she wants to.

Got my Roselli. Really cool little axe.

Next to the BK9 for size reference:

Looking forward to using it. I opted for the 18" handle model, that's considered the axe. The 14" model is considered the hatchet, with the same head. $2 more for the 18" inch handle seemed the way to go. I can always choke up 4 inches if I need to, haha.

Neat little axe Dubz. The handle looks really thick on it.

Sitting by myself with a cuppa this morning waiting for the girl and wife to get up. Who sleeps in on Christmas?? Not me when I was a lad, that's for sure.

I'll bet that's a splitter out of this world Dubz. I got a Silky Gomboy 240. Went out and sawed up a couple of maple limbs and the reviews are right.

Thanks man. It is. The bottom of the handle seems like it's facing the wrong way, haha. Feels like it too.

They said it was a good splitter. Supposed to be a carving axe. That's really the main reason I wanted it, to hew out some blanks for spoon and bowl carving. Plus, it just kind of looks cool, haha.

Awesome on the Silky. I need to get something like that.

Got a few books, including Dave Canterburys new book, and a Stephen king novel. Also got a few pairs of wool socks and a couple flannel shirts. I'll tell ya, I was skeptical at first, but flannel might just be one of the best things ever

My wife bought me a few flannels for my birthday. I haven't had any for years. I'm tellin' ya, it's the way to go.

You are winning so far. I've got a couple of flannel shirts that are just pockets with sleeves. Wife says I look homeless but damn they are just comfortable.

I know. She got loose once and painted all the trim on the house. I let her slide on that one.
