He is a dachshund beagle mix. Honestly it was kinda ridiculous how it went down. The Aunt in law showed up last night on her way to a friends house and wanted to show off this cute little puppy she was carting around. She asked if were interested in getting a dog (which we have been discussing for the last year or so) and what we each wanted. The missus wanted a beagle. Myself, I have always been a fan of dachshunds. This little guy just pushed all the right buttons so she didn't leave with him.

I know that like me a goodly number of you folks are into packs and bags, but there is also a goodly number not quite happy with the modern "tactical" options. While these are not exactly my cup of tea I thought there might be someone here that might be interested.

I literally laughed out loud.

You could carry that dog in that bag and he'd have probably be happy as... well as happy as a dog in a bag.

I'm still trying to figure this stuff out ( serious fast-paced heavy chopping) as well... All I can say is, I know a little bit about throwing a football or a punch or cutting 2x4's, and none of the very best in those fields are tucking their off-hands into the front of their body... *shrug*

Frankly, I'm deeply envious of you spending time with Dan and others next weekend and picking their brains. My advice is, take tons of notes.

Any of you guys on here live in the Dallas Texas area? I'm leaving this coming Tuesday and will be in Dallas for the big truck show till Sunday. Going with my buddy I subcontract work for to help him run his booth. Drivin a couple of his hot rod Peterbilts down there for the show as well. Anybody in the area wanna come in and say hi or grab a beer that would be cool.
 
I'm on the road solo tonight outside of San Antonio and stopped at this local joint for dinner. When they called my name to come get my food they had it on a family sized tray. Talk about making you feel like you ordered too much. 😮

Yea i cant see the benefit of putting the hand in a front pocket. But everyone is different. Some people think a backhand or reverse cut is harder that forward.. For slicing i do better backhand personally. Like ya said whatever works LOL

Thanks bro, I will definitely be taking lots of notes!! Im going to try and squeeze as much knowledge out of them during the next 3 days that i come back with my head about to explode LOL

I leave in the morning, all packed up and ready to go. I been waiting on this since last November!!!
