Do you really think any of us even know what snark is???? :confused::eek::D:p Seriously though, it's the Off-topic stuff that isn't Becker related. All goes into one thread, see? A chat thread, if you will. :thumbup:
 
Its a place to chat about non-becker content---snark is short for snide remark. We use the word to mean harmless sarcasm or jesting.....In other places being snarky is using a much more sarcastic and condescending tone....but we would never do a thing like that:D

Taken with all the lights turned off and my new flashlight turned on the highest setting :D I had to focus the beam at the handle.. Otherwise the reflection off the blade made it impossible to recognize anything at all LOL

Cool light, Supes! I hope I can get on opportunity to compare my 850 to yours. I'm sure it's crazy! If I shine my PD35 at anything under 15' when it's on turbo it gives my a headache! :eek: Worse than looking at the sun.... What batteries were you using? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it makes a difference... Nice feather stick BTW! :thumbup:
 
Thanks MM, i got the light in a package deal with a Nitecore 3400mah 18650, 2 CR123As, and a Nitecore D2 charger.

According to Fenix this light is a little brighter with the 2 CR123As, but i prefer rechargeables so im using the 18650.

Its a sweet light thats for sure!!

Yeah, That's what I thought. I didn't know that CR123's weren't rechargeable, thanks for educating me! :thumbup: What knife is that little knife in the pic with the PD35? It looks like a great box cutter....

They make rechargeable CR123As called RCR123A... But fenix doesnt recommend using rechargeable CR123As in this particular flashlight.

And the little knife is a Brous SS Ranger V1.

Sooo, I've been kind of out of sorts since my mother passed away early Saturday morning...easily distracted, trouble sleeping and all that. Pretty normal stuff. Thanks again for all the kind words, sympathy and prayers on Saturday, so no need to go back through them. The point of the story is that I've been craving good old-fashioned comfort food like my Mom used to cook (although hers sometimes came courtesy of Banquet)...

Dinner the last two nights:

Salisbury steak with onions, garlic mashed potatoes with brown gravy and green beans



Chicken tenderloins with roasted raspberry-chipotle sauce, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and corn



Plus I picked up a couple of new knives recently - a Benchmade AFO II auto and a Opinel with olive wood handle and stainless blade.



Now it's almost time for bed...I'll worry about tomorrow's dinner....tomorrow!

Daizee - sorry to hear about your cat. We've got 2 & one of them pretty much won't let anyone near him except me. The other is some kinda bacon hatin' commie I think.

Your not immune to torture either WW, got your project all roughed and pieces matched, I ended up using some really nice pieces of curly ash, instead of maple. Its a little rarer material, but its more solid and has tight grain. Got it in one piece tonight....... oh yeah, no pics for you either! :D
