I backed into most spots in Florida when i wasnt being lazy. My father always does in public as well. Lots of people do.... I have never heard this.

I think they were messing with you because they seen the Canadian plates :D
No, I dont think so. There is no state law that says you can't back into a spot. I do it all the time. The police, however, catch dip squat bad guys that do it thinking they are being clever. Those are the first cars checked in hotel parking lots.

I think the guy was picking on you, or just lazy. Next time, ask them to quote you the statute. Hacks them off.

Always picking on the foreign guys eh? ;) Yeah, last thing I need is to make some smart remarks to an officer who then holds me for national security because I'm a Canadian and might be a terrorist lol SNARK

Plenty strong. Come over and check it out!

:D Just let me know when you've settled in!

So the new house has a gas stove, i prefer to not have gas in the house and have everything ran on electric. Can always get a gas grill.

But the people were going to swap it to electric for me... Long story short that didnt happen, and now i need a new stove in the new place....

Think im gunna list a few knives for sale..... Well after all ^^that^^ talk I dont want to finance a stove LMAO

I'd MUCH rather have gas over electric for the cooking. I'd prefer charcoal over gas for the grill. Although I'd take a gas as a secondary grill.

Id rather cook on a charcoal grill. The wife would rather cook on a gas stove. We have a gas stove here. But id much rather not have to pay a gas company to drive out to the country to fill up my tank. Id rather not have an additional gas bill. Id rather not have gas lines in the house. The only utility will be electric. Water comes from the well. I like the 1 bill over 2 or 3 personally. So ill get the wife a gas grill as a compromise and we can keep it outside and everyone will be happy :)

I agree with C-bear, natural gas is way way better for every kind of cookery, and you can probably convert it to LP without too much expense... which is out-freaking-standing for times of power-outage or any other survivaly-type situations. Unless you have a boatload of solar panels or windmills, if everything's electric you're pretty well screwed if anything goes wrong.

The next best thing is a decent gas grill like you said... we've been using ours for roughly 90% of all our cooking for the last few weeks. It doesn't heat up the house, the fuel is the same or cheaper than the electricity, and we can cook/bake/fry/smoke/sautee any dang thing we want. We keep three standard propane tanks in rotation, to make sure there's always two full and ready to rock.

I used to be a real snob about charcoal, until I got used to using a gas grill and realized... guess what... you can use charcoal (or wood chips or any combination thereof) in there, too :D

I have an app that automatically wipes waffle fetish pics.

PM with details plz k thx bye.

:o

I used to drive to the store and get my dad cigarettes and me candy when I was 9 haha.

Ahh, the good ol' days, growing up in a small town... I remember them well  Fast forward to 2015... now I'm 44, 6'3", 200-somethin-somethin pounds with streaks of grey in my dadgum beard, and I get carded for a sixer or pack of squares every time... WTF...

Hey!!! Don't go nuts yet. You can always sell knives LATER. Wait til you get to florida to buy one.

Will the old gas stove still be there or did they take it a leave you with nothing?

If they had a gas stoveand it's now gone, there may not be a 220 plug for an electric yet anyway, and you can always buy an electric one AFTER you get there - no hauling one from PA.

HAHA!! Not going nuts, no worries. Everything is kind of in motion for this. The financing thing was just a joke. Selling a few knives just makes it quicker and easier. When i get there the electric stove will be hooked up ready to be used.

There is a plug for it, the house came with electric but these people preferred gas so much they paid, overpaid from what they said, to have a gas company bring them gas and switched to a gas stove.

I had them take the gas stove out, its went to someone else. And the gas company is already coming to get the tank. There is also someone my family knows that has a nice electric stove/oven less than a year old for sale for a good price.... Its all in motion.... I pay for it early and my father will get it and hook it up so its ready when we get there. If i wait... Well then soon as we get there we have to worry about going and picking up a stove before we can cook.. This is easier.

Well now ya tell me...I just picked this up today. For the past 2 years the world has been trying to stop me from getting a Jeep. Just when I thought I won....I went to pick it up last night, tore it all down and was ready to hit the road(about an hour from my house) ...wrong key, then they could find it. Foiled again!!!
Well, they dropped it off at work today, if I ever make it back to the office, I'm finally gonna get it home!

Congratulations, welcome to the club!

Took my son out on a quick camp out, this guy came by to hang out for a good 10 minutes

Nice jeep, I can't wait to get one!

No.... That only happens in the Northern States.... Florida is mostly transplants from everywhere in the world. Very few of us natives anymore. Except for a few isolated areas (like where Wood is going), the police are pretty good natured, as long as you're not a complete ass. Half ass is okay.

Probably already is LP.... Not too many natural gas lines out in the stix where he's going.

You just cannot keep a BK9, can you?

I lost count. They come and they go. The good thing about that is they re-sell well and are easy to get again later.

Im wondering if the paranagatang gets any bites. Id go down 10 or so for a beckerhead but other than that i already listed it cheaper than the knife and scales without the kydex sheath... Had a feeling id have to take a big loss on it though. That handle....

The machax wont be sold again though. I prefer it to the 9. I have stuff that out chops both... But the chax is just so cool and fun to use. Really need a nice sheath for it.

Yea there is no types of gas lines running out there where im going (or city water/sewer, or normal cable TV for that matter either). I honestly dont know much about gas/lp differences or which they had though. But your likely right!!

Man i cant wait to get back down there. I do miss the stix.

Yea maybe... But that wont be happening with these 2 LOL

I can get smaller pieces for handles cheaper. Mother nature did an amazing job creating this art, i want it on display in my home. Hell if i cant come up with a good project for in the house ill hang them up just like pictures in my shop. I love how they look.

But im thinking some shelves or something would be sweet. Im also thinking an "inlayed" clock would look great over our fireplace. The wall with the fireplace is stone, we already plan to rip the carpet out and put some of that vinyl plank fake wood flooring in the living room... I think doing the living room in in a wood and stone theme would look excellent. And the colors in these boards would go well with the stone colors and wood flooring IMO.

Just kidding about the knife scales, but I think a clock would look great!
