What an amazing day to have been too busy to check in and keep up with the madness.

Snark was funny the first time and is even funnier tonight AFTER going and reading some of the fun I missed today.

Grimm bridge denzien indeed.

I'm still not buying Guyon's Word-of-the-Day Calendar. Especially the illustrated version.

I'm looking for a callous technician.

You should try one of those Asian ladies at the mall.... they do wonders with feet. Maybe skills transition over to other parts of the body.

Also... Giggity.

Oof. Just caught up on snark for the last few days. I laffed, I weeped, I cringed, and felt rather confused. Then I went and read a few posts by some idiot whom I won't name and I was no longer confused, so I laughed some more.

Been doing a little bathroom remodel this week. Took a rusty nail to the forehead. Went and got a shot, so my jaw doesn't lock. Found some mold and killed it.......hopefully. Found a leaking drain pipe.....still haven't gotten to that, bit it made a mess that I wish I had caught much earlier. Not using the 2 sinks that use that drain until I can get it fixed. Eating off of paper plates and grilling every day is OK by me though.

I may have ended my edc flashlight search. Either that or the tumble has started down yet another rabbit hole.

5 modes, 1000 lumens, 600 lumens, 100 lumens, 20 lumens, and 1 lumen. It also has the standard strobe mod. It uses one rechargeable 18650 battery and comes with a charging dock that interfaces with the tailcap.

Really nice man.

Sweet flashlight. FWIW, Fenix just came out with a tac version of the PD35.

I have that same flashlight. It's a HANDY little sucker! I got the A2 pouch from S.O.E. and it fits pretty well. It's a great light!

Cool light Dres.

How the hell did that damn thread double in size overnight?? Got sucked into reading thru it again. Guyon chooses to put his four millionth post in there?? An actual Dex sighting, AND a detailed response from the boss?? What next, cats and dogs living together?

In other news, bueno axen:

Finally got the garage sale axe heads hung. Handles are still drying from a couple of coats of linseed oil. Also need to put a final edge on them. The big one is going in the truck, for camping duty. The smaller one will be living beside the fire pit, as a kindling kreator.

Also realized there's a Tandy leather store here, so after walking out with half a cow and a handful of packets filled with random stuff, managed to bang out some quick and dirty sheaths. Not bad for my first time working with leather.

The black one was dipped in the same vinegar solution I soaked the axe heads in. The brown one just has some leather protector on it. Now I gotta figure out what to do with the rest of the cow…

Well that's really cool!

Thanks guys! I have only had it one day but I like it so far. For anyone who is intersted you can get them on the river store with different kits with additional batteries, wall chargers, and car chargers. I opted for the kit with two rechargeable batteries and a car adapter. Shouldn't have a reason to not have light now.

C bear, glad to hear you have had the light a while and like it. Thanks for the tip on the SOE pouch. Do you have any pictures of the light in the pouch? Does it fit well, or does it fit enough to get by? Also, those keychain lights look like a must buy as well.
