I have been doing some pondering.
I smoke, quite a bit.... ~2 packs a day.

I figured it up, and that's
One Week- BK2/Tweener
Two Weeks- Nice custom blade
Four Weeks- GLOCK
Six Weeks- Remington 700
Eight Weeks- Kimber 1911

...and I have been paying for cigarettes for 10 years. Makes me wonder how full my toy-boxes could have been by now if I never started smoking.

Roll your own, it's a helluva lot cheaper.

I called and asked him what he put in it.

He didn't answer. Right away.

I guess he's making his own compound these days. :D

Moose

I am pretty sure Trade just uses normal Dynamite, but he might have tweeked how much nitro he soaked the sawdust in.

i can show you :)

yes, quit!

QUIT!

course, they also say that loading your own ammo is cheaper, but the startup costs... yeah, well. eventually, there's a break even. in the meantime, shoot lots of .22LR, with occasional forays with various russian ammo. though prices on 5.56 are much lower than i've seen in years. the rest can be fun, but spendy.

and gun smoke is so much more ... smooth ;)

I smoked for 18 years and quit. I smoked 2 packs a day too. That was I believe about 15-16 years ago. If I can do it, anyone can.

How'd ya quit Dubz?
My buddy's father smoked a couple packs a day for 30 years. Quit cold turkey after his heart-attack.

i took a vow when i was a kid to never smoke. or date smokers. kissing them is yucky. some of them reek so bad i can't be in the same room with them. if you smoke, and i keep backing away from you while you keep getting into personal space territory, well, clue :)

smoking effectively killed my dad. would have killed my mom, but something ELSE got her before the cancer got too bad.

what are the stats? 1 in 3 people will get cancer and/or die from smoking? no thanks. that's two rounds in the six shooter. take a shot every 5-10 years. see what gives :)

/me goes to his treasure trove. ooh, yeah, saved a lot by not smoking...

these days though, i appreciate a good wine, some expensive booze, and sometimes a beer that costs more than $1, so well, money well spent.

I made a solid decision to not do it anymore. I quit cold turkey, and never looked back. I never went through withdrawals either. It was like I never smoked. I was just sick of it I guess.

I am debating quitting. I dunno, Im a big enuff Ahole WITH nicotine.

some of u people need to get in 'Chat

i noticed that walmart sells "throw nets" for fishing

throw nets.

omg. soooo bloody intriguing... yet... i can't imagine needing one. yet... COOL.

going to have to get my state license shortly, so i can "branch out" and find other local ponds and stuff.

I have one from there. It works good I use it to catch minnows for the trot line. I have saved a ton of money on bait and I think the net was only 12 bucks. I have had it at least 3 years now.

cewl! i may snag one. maybe. i dunno. certainly i can clear out every last blue gill in my pond :)

Also, cigarettes contain over 4000 different toxic chemicals, including carbon monoxide (car exhaust), hydrogen cyanide (lethal injection), arsenic (rat poison), ammonia (bleach), and a number of other fun things that will kill you before your time. I'd go for that Kimber any day. Good luck to you in quitting, Thrill.

ammonia is not bleach... and you never mix the two. that's ... bad.

but yup. it's a slow death, and it doesn't get everyone - 2/3 people have enough tolerance to last until something else gets you.

bottom line? something will get you. i'd prefer super nova :)

oh, hey, new les stroud series. partaking on netflix. "beyond survival"

just finished "dual survival", and prior to that "man woman wild"...

and to think, just about 1 year ago, i was chatting ever so briefly with Ron Hood. was hoping i could have pegged more of his time, but you know how it is, everyone wants a piece of the famous guys, and i'm just a fan.

well, Thursday VERY BLOODY EARLY starts my Blade Show 2012 weekend. mmm.
