Oh.... Thanks for giving me a heads up, but all I see is your bk11, a kabar kurki, and a tribal piece? Was there more I'm not seeing, where's the 4? :)
I withdrew it because i just kept getting lowball offers, i’ll put it back up, let me know if you are interested or i’ll take it back down.

Snarking on a tropical Becker island...

I broke the Snark, and the, ... Snark won! I broke the Snark, and the, ... Snark won.
Picture a man going on a journey filled with broken Snark bits of flotsam and jetsam, you've just entered, the shylight zone.

weekend hammer-in went well.
mother nature cooperated - the actual temp stayed below 90, so the RF stayed below 100 -- outside the shop!

2 propane forges going inside, 1 coal forge going outside, 4 anvils with minimal waiting.
14 people swinging hammers at hot metal over the course of 2 days - ranging from 9 to 66 years old.

Cool ! I mean hot! Did you make anything? Or were you helping all the others out?

mostly I was helping - I did end up making a couple of pieces on Friday while demo-ing a couple of different techniques.
small piece was an attempt to drift a cap lifter out of a piece of #3 rebar -- it split, so I added a twist, an eye, and a mouth.
still a cap lifter, just a really ugly one.

second piece was sort of a "try stick" made out of #4 rebar - showing a guy how to make a fork -- I went big because it was easier to show the different steps.
then i showed him how to dish spoon on a chunk of wood.
then I did some more twisting practice
then I punched and drifted out a round cap lifter in the middle -- it was used several times over the course of the weekend.

Sunday I tried a different style of caplifter -- that could also do double duty as a drunk deterrent when held "wrong".....

Got yet another fire piston in the mail today. Machined aluminum and brass. All the way from China. Works okay. Not as good as some of my others, but does work. Heavy mo fo too.
