SWMBO brought me a 4-pack of Founder's Backwoods B@stard -- a barrel aged scotch ale.
mmmmmmmmmmm............
and potent.
best of all, the whiskey/oak flavors didn't overpower it.
 
Brother called me, said he took my mom to the ER. She has a swollen breast, and they have to put a drain on it, and they're admitting her. Mom's a tough old bird, as she has had a stint placed in her heart, and has beat cancer as well. Really worried about her. Heading up to see her in a few. Prayers needed...
 
Definitely praying for your mom Warrior.

My BIL has been on the mend going on three months now. He had a scab larger than my palm on his right leg that had become infected. They surgically removed the scab and put him on antibiotics, that was last week. Hopefully his infection will stay away.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. Just returned. They gave her antibiotics, and admitted her. Mom's had cancer on her breast. They were able to do radiation treatment, and didn't have to do a mastectomy. The same breast is giving her the problems. She said it hurt for a few days, but this morning, it was red and swelling, and she had the cold sweats, and 102° temperature. They found an infection in it. I believe they called it cellulitis. They have the fever gone already. As of now, before tests, they think she'll be in there for 3 or 4 days, and hopefully be able to release her on an oral antibiotic.

Came back from watching Last Jedi. Sooo good. Can’t believe Snoke turned out to be Jar Jar.
 
Thanks guys. My mom sure has been through a lot. She's 78 years old. She had to bury my dad 31 years ago. He died of bone cancer at 48 years old, so she's been on her own ever since. My brother hung himself, and she's the one that found him. She had stomach cancer, and beat it. Then she was having heart problems, and had a stint put in. Then she got breast cancer, and beat it. Now this, that seems related.
 
It sounds like she is The Warrior. She has been fighting one battle or another her whole life. She will win this one also Dubz Prayers inbound with the smoke.
 
Thanks guys, she is a tough one. I was expecting the worst when I got there, but she was sitting up talking to us like there wasn't any problem at all, haha.
