We are going thin on the edges. These are NOT meant to be Search And Rescue blades so they will not have heavy tips for pounding and prying. They are, instead, intended for slicing. I think you'll be very pleased with the edges. :thumbup:

Thick or thin, you need to pay a LOT more attention to the quality of your profiling work. The edges that I received were dull and unevenly ground, some of the worst I've seen at any price.

Send your blades in and we'll sharpen 'em just the way you want 'em. Put my name on the label and I will personally make sure that they meet your expectations.

I will even drink the goodstuff on the day that we attack your blade! That way you won't run the risk of me going all "Nuclear Seahorse" on your edge!!!!

Given they are saber ground, how much thinner will this edge profile be???

My thought is that it will help the light-ness of the handle and probably make it balance better, but edge? Nah. I'd have to dig out my 9th grade geometry books to figure it out, but I don't think it'll make a HUGE difference.

I'm still tempted to send my satin Test Team to Garth to have the handle skeletonized.

Quick calc - primary grind is within 2 degrees based on rough estimates using Jerry's pic.
