I went to Lowes last night and had my XM-18 clipped to my pocket. When I got back home it was gone. This is not going to be a good day. :grumpy::mad::(

Wow...that just sucks...:(

Be sure to check your car, as i might have fallen somewhere in there...hope you find it!

That reminds me of when my Um got knocked out of my pocket in a parking lot. Luckily a friend saw it and picked it up. Best of luck to you man, that is one honey of a knife to lose

Worst part is the guy who finds it, probably won't even know what he has.

I would see if Lowes has a lost and found, it doesn't hurt.

Let us know if you find it Vege-Taco. This is the only place where the pain can really be understood. I'd be sick. In fact I lost 3 Italian leverlocks and was a little tanked that night.

I recall putting them somewhere and that's it...18 mos. later and I'm still hoping to pick something up around here and find them.....:(: barf::barf:

im really sorry, I would check lost and found I work at lowes and here we have one and you'd be surprised how honest some people are about turning things in. I hope you find it. That would definitely make me sick

I feel your pain, I lost a customized small classic Sebenza not too long ago. Made me sick to my stomach to reach down and it not be there. Still havent found it. I hope you find yours as like with mine, whoever finds it will very likely have no idea what they really have.

Thanks guys. I'll definitely check back with Lowes today. I haven't given up yet.

Condolences on your loss. I have been there with a small Sebenza. Never heard it drop or felt it fall out. Just disappeared one day.

Ouch. Over the years I have found knives and lost knives, but the ones I found were never as good as the ones I've lost. A Spyderco Native went home with a hotel maid and another one disappeared on a firewood foraging expedition, as did a couple of Spyderco Enduras.

I really really hate losing stuff, regardless of the value. Makes me crazy. I've spent days looking for stuff. My 1960's vintage Buck 110 was missing for years until it turned up in the pocket of a pair of wool hunting pants. On the bright side, I lost a Leatherman tool that my son gave me in heavy brush along a trout steam. I started back towards the jeep, and the leatherman was laying on a rock like someone put it there. Sometimes good things happen.

I hope you find your knife.

Man, sorry to hear that. I truly hope you find the knife.

That's one thing that really deters me from investing in custom knives. I'd be scared to carry them because I might lose them. That would just drive me crazy.

Ouch. That hurts.
Had you lost a common knife like a Seb or Strider, it wouldn’t be so bad. At least you can obtain another one of those easily if you have the funds.
I actually quit buying hard use knives after I got the XM-18, simply because I felt I had finally found THE knife. To lose this one would be a real bummer.

That is one reason I don’t carry my keys, change, or anything else in my right pocket where I carry my folders. I’ve had too many knives pull out with the other stuff.

Hope you find it soon.

Keep up the weight loss. It is SO worth it.

First place I look when something like that happens is next to the driver's seat of the car, way down low on the floor where the chair is bolted to the floor.
