[SNIFF] I lost my XM-18 :(

Sooo sorry I'd be sick if i lost my XM ... Had a close call with a sebenza once drove around for hours retracing my steps only to find it clipped to the six pack that snagged it outta my pocket!!
 
I have found knives that have their own lives in the seat of my car. One time the clip grabbed something else (a bag I think) and got stuck on that. Once my seat belt grabbed the clip and pickpocketed me.

Keep looking! (Which Lowes was that?) :D
 
I think I just lost four brand new FHMs--either the dude at the post office in the Philippine stole them or customs in the Philippines seized them. I sent another three out by regular mail (the first three were Express), so I'm hoping the last three come through.

I'm pretty sure it was the lazy fat dude at the post office though. He doesn't give a damn about his job. He comes in late and watches DVDs on a portable player while at work, and takes long lunch breaks whenever he feels like it. :( If I find out PhilPost never got the package, I'm going to be pissed. I'm already thinking of ways to get back at him (not that I'll put any of those plans into action). ;)

Then again, all 7 cost a lot less than ur XM-18. I hope you get your knife back (and that I get all seven of mine)!
 
i got a bm 960 confiscated somewhere between iowa and rome and felt terrible, so that must be a big hit. hope you find it.
 
Good news! I found my XM!!!! :D

I must be getting old. :rolleyes: I threw a load of laundry into the washer last night and then, 30 minutes later into the dryer. I heard a repetitive loud thunking coming from the dryer. :p Yep, it was the XM. It's nice and clean now too. :D A few drops of oil and it's as good as new! I love the tumbled finish even more now because there is no harm done by tumbling it a bit more in the wash. LOL :thumbup:

Glad you found Your blade, I did the same thing a while back with a Case Trapper, it got washed. thought I had lost it. :D
 
Congrats on figuring out where you XM was. Should've check those pockets before the wash. ;)
 
Sounds pretty beat up, I'll give you $200 for it. :D

I just had this feeling that you'd find it when reading this thread. My guess was in those dark recesses around the car seat tracks. That's where I always find stuff that slips out of my pockets. You can do your happy dance today!

I thought I lost my $500 William Henry, once. I was depressed for days. I ended up finding it between my seat and the center console in my mini-van. That was a Happy Day!

Lost my sunglasses, far from the same price, a couple of months ago and am still annoyed, was the only real pair I've had and really liked them. Plus they were prescription. I feel bad for the moron who found them and kept them.

Congrats on finding the knife! Bet you'll appreciate that much more, also keep your eye on it more too. lol
 
None of us have slept since this horrid incident began. Finally, we may get some rest, and be at peace.
