Snow??? Yeah... Here In Penn's Woods, We Got a Little...

richstag, nice pix!! ...Especially that last one of the treeline in the sun.:thumbup: 30", wow, that ain't no joke either!

Hi Nef.
Jamie, Re: the snow blower; shoot it, stab it then light it on fire. ;)
:D

Drain the gas first, pour it in a line down the driveway, stand back & toss a lit match... problem solved. :foot:

Thanks Jaxx. At the point I went for a walk with the cam I was pretty much crawling through the snow and kind of laying there just snapping away at the shutter. Not much composition going on there:D But, I like that last one also. It was giving me fits to make the snow "white", but I took a look around and realized the sky was blue and so was the snow!:) What you see is what we had in these pics so it shows just how wierd the weather looked until the storm started to clear. I need a drink now! Thanks for starting this thread:thumbup:

Reppin the other side of PA...we got about 26 inches of snow (I did this my measuring 5 spots in my yard and averaging them out because the wind was blowing it so much). Took about three hours just to shovel the driveway. Currently many the boroughs and municipalities around us are in a state of emergency. As for me, I have the fireplace up and running, have had a pork roast cooking for hours so it can be shredded and mixed with barbaque sauce, and a potato cooking by the fire :D

Nice. I did my cooking last night, a couple of steaks with mashed potatoes, just in case we lost power. Figured that even cold steak & potatoes was better than PB&J's for 2 days. :D Thankfully, the power stayed on, so leftovers will be hot and still very tasty. ;)

wow, a lot of great pic's in this post, sorry you all got snowed in. Here in my part of NY we stayed clear and dry ...for a change:confused:

Stay warm,

Jules

Very nice...I need to eat steaks more often. I eat PBJ's atleast once a day when i'm away for school, and I wouldnt have it any other way! :p

My power just came on around 5 or 6. Before then it would flash on for a few seconds then off again.

be glad you got electric..........

Not only glad...but I'm darn grateful! I expected to lose it during this storm, so I'm happy to be wrong on that. Now I got my fingers crossed that no one takes out a utility pole...

man i hope all is good, mine went last year a ice storm bout 8 days and it was super cold no heat,so i bought a generater and camp stoves and lanterns trying to be ready...........

That white stuff is just standard fare for us guys in the north:)Snow shovels and my bobcat do the job:)

Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, BTW nice pics. But Florida does have its perks. Don't have to shovel anything to go out and play. Don't need a block heater.

Last year it was our turn, I guess it's yours this year. Stay safe folks, and hopefully warm.

Let's hope Amy-O stays off the roads tonight.
:yawn::D

If somehow you used "coors light" and "water" in that sentence, you'd replace MustardMan as the number one on the list.

Snow is awesome! It rained here, made me very sleepy.
