Last night and today were the beginning of the first snow storm of the season for northwest Ohio. There has been continuous snow fall since late last night and it just keeps coming. I went to sleep last night with the snow just beginning to fall and little to no snow on the ground. This morning everything covered in a beautiful blanket of white powder. Throughout the day, the snow has gotten thicker and made everything more beautiful. I am one of the few who is a big fan of the snow, to me it justifies the cold temperatures. I'm definitely looking forward to snowball fights and atv/snowmobile parties :thumbup:

This is from early this morning. We've gotten plenty more since! I'll be sure to post more pictures in a bit. Right now, I'm off to play in the snow :D


Who else enjoys the snow? Does anyone have pictures to share of their snowy adventures?
 
I was hoping we would get some of that snow in SE Ohio today, but we just got cold rain, maybe freezing a little later, :thumbdn: Have fun in the snow!
 
I hope we get a good one this year. The past several years it would get cold then just as moisture comes in it warms up enough just to get cold rain.
 
I like snow for the first 10 minutes. . . after that I am ready for summer to start :D The driving part of it freaks me out a bit but it's definitely pretty to look at ;)
 
I love snow when I'm off for the winter.

I am not getting this winter off, though.
 
8" up here on the Ridge.
We just got back from a 4 mile sled ride. Pick up truck was involved. :D
 
What the heck is all that white rubbish in your pics Lora....where is the grass.....did someone burst a huge bean bag there whilst in a drunken stupor and stumble away without cleaning up first...??? How rude....!!!

Just slipping into shorts and thongs to go work on my tan while washing the path and BBq area here.... :D :D
 
Ive had 8 inches over here in Indiana for a while now, you're more than welcome to it

Looks beautiful Lora! While I have no idea what it's like to experience snow like this, I reckon it would be cool ;) to play in it. I've always been ok with cold, I love winter here and look forward to the cold months. That said it's nothing like what you have there!
 
Winter ain't even started folks!
By the calendar that is.
I wanna be a school teacher in my next life!
 
Ok Im good now. This crap can go away. I really dont mind cold, havent wore a coat yet this year but snow stinks. This is Ohio where it snows but it seems like every year after the first big snow everyone forgets how to drive for a week or so. Snow = slippery yes but that doesnt mean you have to drive 3 miles per hour.

Congrats MS Lora!!! I agree sweety the first snow is always my favorite. Like to have a cup of spiced tea and listen to the snow fall. If you listen you can hear it. Started snowing again this afternoon and it's just peaceful. Have fun and enjoy Missy!!!
 
See here my friend is where a great disconnect exists between Australia and the US....here it is perfectly acceptable for a Manly Man to say to another Manly Man... "Yeah, 'beaut thongs you have there mate, where'd 'u get 'em" .... not a person in the room would bat an eyelid, heck....even the Clergy here will wear shorts and thongs in summer.... in fact I recall seeing one of the nuns that taught me in school in a pair of thongs at one point..... ;) ;)
 
Last winter we had snow from October 17th until about May 10th. Never had any this year until the second week of November. A lot of people have snowmobiles up here but I am not into it.

way to make me choke. LOL, I swear that literally made me choke, Jody was like are you ok out there? rotf.
Yeah this is our 3rd snow event going on right now.

By thongs I am assuming you are talking about footwear...
