Snow!!!

I just moved to town in October and I've noticed that a lot of folks (even pick up trucks) are wearing studded tires. I bought some for my wife's little car a couple of years ago since she had a 45 minute commute each way through some pretty desolate steep winding high ways. (which is why we now live in town)
My truck happens to have snow tires (no studs) but thats just because I happened to find a really good deal on them, only slightly used with rims, been riding on them for about a year a now full time.

Is everybody else rocking the studded tires or am I normal?

And here's a couple of pictures of our driveway, we ended up with maybe 3 inches or snow, only lasted about a week though. It's warmed up again.

Man, you can KEEP the snow!!!................................................................................:D

Supposed to get another three to six tomorrow. For me it's not bad until it starts melting. These old friction cranes get touchy with all that water dripping on the brakes and clutches.

Nice PIC Lora.
Some areas of Ohio & Pennsylvania become so incredibly beautiful when blanketed with a coating of fresh, pristine snow.
I like the snow though not when shoveling huge amounts of it.

Best part of the snowy season is filling the car-mug with coffee, getting in my wifes 94 Chevy Blazer in the middle of the night,
And when no-one else is around, start playing around like a freakin moron...
Maybe find a nice vacant parking lot and just floor it, lol...
Nothing like that feeling when you manage to do a fully controlled 4wheel spinning turn around the corner, MWAHAHAHA...

Sorry, I'm Norwegian, and we just love "playing" in the snow... LOL...

One of my favorite past times as well. I like to play around in pick ups with no weight in the bed.

Well its snowing again. Anybody want this crap. I am ready for it to stop right now.

Garth

I say we package this crap up and send it to Dave Brown

+1

That is a plus about it, especially when the snow is fresh and there's nobody on the road, some people just should not drive in snow

But, I have to suffice with back country roads, if I wanted a parking lot I'd have to drive 20 minutes :( But fishtailing around in the country is nice

Yep, the snow is completely screwing up the traffic here in Toronto... Took me an hour to get to my job site, where it usually takes less than 10 minutes...

I recall that city calling the army in to deal with snow because they cannot/ or don't know what to do with it. Whenever they get more than a couple of inches Toronto is on the national news.

I'm pretty sure that "playing" in the snow is a past time of many. I love going out in my truck and whipping around corners and cutting some donuts in the larger intersections :)
