Snowed In !!!

Still snowing here in NJ. So far it looks like we'll get 12" - 18" with the wind making some nice drifts! Earlier this morning I let the dog out back & he just stood there in snow up to his 'tutu'. He came back in & all I saw was a little yellow hole in the snow.:D Don't know what he's gonna do when he needs to take a 'dump'?

I got out this morning and about halfway through the parking lot...

Rusty - I grew up in Utah. It takes a heckuva lot more than 24" of snow to stop me from trying...

Well, that said, I felt a bit sheepish this morning having to ask someone to give my car a yank. :(

For the 5 years I lived in Savannah, Georgia I had a 4WD vehicle and no reason to use it. I finally consented and got a 2WD SUV and 2 months later ended up relocating to northern country again... :footinmou

I was red with shame when a Ford Expedition came by and not only "unstuck" me but towed my lame RWD SUV up the hill back to my original parking spot.

I hate that...

That used to be me...

I have never fully understood my incredible power over the weather. It's much like the power I have over the Dallas Cowboys the last couple of years. We were only supposed to get 1" here, so I happily posted that it was passing beneath us. Wake up this morning to 12". Didn't realize my one statement would doom the Northeast to even more snow. Should have immediately knocked on one of my Khukuri handles. Luckily I am off work today, so can clean up at my leisure. Have snowblower, will travel.

Wolvesclaw alota guys here in Minnesota would love your mystical ability to turn 1" of snow into 12". :D Its been a pretty light snow season here, would love to have some of the snow you guys out east got. Though, I guess someone else here must have the same power's you have over the Cowboys, though they have applied it to the Vikings;) :D

Took a litte work, but I got out this morning.

It's still quite a mess out here...

I was snowed in and just got back to work today. I can only access the net at work so I got a bit of catching up to do around here.

37+ inches of snow this year. Usually we gather less than 8 inches in a season. Much different from the routine 100+ inch bombarding I got inn Erie, PA.

Yesterday the temps here were in the 40s, melting most of our snoow into some wonderful skating rink ice.
