So, a belt loop and a loop for a thigh strap make a survival knife now?

i disagree with some of the things he says, but clearly his knife choices work for him...and it is true that it's hard to carry a knife without a sheath.
i looked through some of his videos, and it seems to me like he is the sort of person that alot of us would agree with...he is very interested in self sufficiency and preparedness. he doesn't really know everything, but he is attempting to learn and that's good :thumbup:
i just wish i could get him on the phone and talk to him about some of the things he says (like no stainless is worth anything :barf
clearly, to me, he is basing some of the things he says on the things that his father and other rolemodels said as he was growing up...before steels got so fancy

They work but just not the top stuff.
However I have stopped watching his vids because of his comments on China (im Chinese) He has an extremely bias and generalised views of china. He makes us all sound like no good communists whose sole life purpose is to steal American jobs. He says he doesnt like a country who people arent allowed free speech but yet everytime I make a comment stating my views he deletes them... Hypocrite?

His body language is pretty obvious as well.
In the first few seconds when he says Gerber Cold Steel and Buck i just knew he was going to pick the Cold Steel knife as his fav.
Yeah the dismissal of all stainless knives is a little extreme.
Some of his other videos are ok though.
Like anything on youtube take what he says with a grain of salt.

I agree, I would love to chat with him. Seems like a nice enough guy, that shares our common interest, just needs some education on things, and thats what we are here for.:thumbup:
