So, Busse guys: What's on your wrist?

I'd probably go with this one if I got an Oris:

Great movement, great value in a watch. There's a lot out there, but this is probably at the top in terms of value in a Swiss automatic timepiece. For the price range, I'd probably hunt for a good condition Omega Seamaster on that auction site. You can't get much better than that and should get a great one from $800-$1000 that's like new if you're patient!

That was the Oris I was looking for. Found one with the stainless steel band slightly used for a little over $500. I'll check out the other ones you mentioned too. Thanks! :D

Fortis B-42. If it's good enough for the russian cosmonauts, it's ok with me :D. And from what I've seen the germans make the best watches (albeit w/ swiss movements).

Unless it's recharging in my dining area window, I wear a Casio PAW1400T-7V (Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder, Titanium). Whenever it's recharging, I wear an older Casio Titanium Waveceptor that was only sold in the Asian market -- it's more compact and "dressy" than any I've seen sold in the US having similar features.

I only have one watch. Minimal bling factor, strong, simple, reliable. And I can walk into a jewelry store in any city in the world and sell it for enough to buy a plane ticket home...

Great thread, made me get the camera out to take some pictures of my Omega Seamaster which I have had for some 10 years now. It's the only watch I have and I wear it every day to work.

I like all thee G Shocks in this thread, I think I will get one for weekend wear.

Here is my one and only with some friends.

Wow, Will, I don't know which to envy more, the watch or the knife.

That Meaner is giving me heart palpitations.

No problem :p I actually gave you the wrong link! I meant to send you this one:

I had one and loved it. One of my friends was getting married and asked me if he could wear it with his tux (didn't want to wear his G-Shock :D they go good with everything BUT dress) and liked it so much he asked me if I'd sell it to him. It's been a few years and he's still wearing it every day  I might just end up getting another one. Loved that watch. Kept great time too!

That's one of the best dive watches out there! I used to have one and it was my favorite watch until I got my PO. I sold it a month later as I wasn't wearing it any more. TOTALLY regret it. Not that I don't love the PO, but I just miss that one too much. I love the Valjoux 7750 wobble too. I swear that thing would spin for a minute at the slightest movement! :D:thumbup:

I don't see any use for a watch, my cell phone keeps the time and it'd just be one more thing to carry.

Oh, and if you value your Busse money do NOT go into the "About Time" forum over on the Network.

I'mGatMan!, where is that forum? The "Network"?

gandor, what is the knife with the red liners?

surprised to hear of a hublot. nice! i really like to silicon system of the sinn, but don't like the idea of having to ship it back to germany to get a battery replacement.

Arrived in the mail yesterday. Maratac Pilot Automatic. It's a little bigger than I'm use to, 46mm, but I'm really liking it.

wish I had my camera handy. I usually sport a Ti citizen ecodrive and my s5LE (bussekin)

At work, cheap 'go ahead and beat it' ~$25 digital somethingerother. Casio maybe. I dunno.

Afterwork--Swiss Army (Victorinox) GMT model w/ stainless case & band/clasp.

I'm a fan of the Vic. Swiss Armies. Got a couple/three of them. Would really love to snag a Ti model.

There's some Tag Heuers I like. Maybe in 20 years I'll let myself have Rolex as a retirement gift (if I can actually retire at that point).
