So... got my new small sebenza today...

I am starting to wonder if maybe CRK got some bad grease. It could happen with out them knowing.Works fine in the shop but turns hard after sitting a while.
I have some miltec-1 grease and it does not work well at all.
You can get a bottle of Militec-1 on ebay for around 5.00 and it will last a very long time. For the time being get the WD 40 out of it and use some light wieght gun oil or 3 in 1 oil.
Militec-1 is the only lube I use on anything that needs lube.
As far as the flicking goes I don't do it and if a Sebenzas pivot is the way it should be it would be hard to do.One thing I love about a Sebenza is the smooth constant action of the pivot.

It'll be interesting to hear what you think a month from now if you follow this advice or actually do as CRK requested & return it to the factory. Please let us know. Good luck & best regards, - - -

I decided to keep it in my possession. And I will definitely report back.

I think that may be the case here, that there was some bad lube used at some point. Cause after I cleaned out all that hardened gunk, it seems much much better.

Bet CRK would have loved to get it back so that they could look at situation for themselves to see if there was a manuf or dealer glitch of some kind. If that happens to me, its going back post haste by FedX . - - Glad to hear things seem to be working better for you though. Regards, - -
