Wonder how everyone discovered the AWESOMENESS of BUSSE knives??? FOr me, just dumb luck! Never knew anything about BUSSE, now I got em! Bought a load of them at a storage liquidation and didn't know anything about them! Thought they looked suuuuper coool and cheap, so why not???Whew hew!!!!!!!!

I first saw Busse knives at the Indy 1500 Gun & Knife show. Thanks Mike for a lifetime of debt:eek:

saw an ad in a gun mag sometime in 2003, i was intrigued.

soon after saw another ad for the meaner street. bought an le at the bcs, been hooked ever since.

Was wondering why the number of Busse forum posts were catching up to the H.I. forum so I decided to have myself a looksie.

Got my first from team Busse at a survival show at the Franklin county fairgrounds (1994 I think). Then a few years later, thatmguy set the hook at a gun show.
Now I just need an occasional INFI fix :)

Here on bladeforums.com I joined to figure out what new folder to get, picked up a couple of Busse's out of curiousity and the next thing I know I'm salivating over a ganzaa.

LOL@yer name. Shoulda been BennyBusseLover, tho.

A la From Dusk Til Dawn. ROTFL!!! "Attention Busse Lovers. We have a Benny Busse Sale. Buy one Busse at a regular price and get a second Busse of equal or lesser value for one Benny."

I forget how I found them. Stupid knife company!

I discovered Busse -- and learned how awesome they were -- right here on BF. Thanks, guys, you've got me stuck on these things.

I had several folders (over 100 Spydies) and decided to look for a super tough fixed blade. I found BF and the Busse forum while searching the internet 8 years ago, snagged one of the original LMS at the end of the run and now my Busses out number my folders. :) My name is Drew and I am an INFIholic. Ask me how you, too, can become INFIcted.

Seems to me I saw an ad in a magazine about 9-10 years ago. Then saw a critque by Ron Hood and the rest is history..

Like others my love of sharp pointy things briught me here to Blade Forums and I stumbled upon this part of the forums. At first I just lurked a little and then one day I got a wild hair and decided I would buy one and see what all the fuss was about. Little did I know what I was in for.

Right here at BFC.

Spyderco was the entry drug. From there, it went to Benchmade. There was a Buck phase, a stockman phase, a Schrade phase, a Becker phase.

And now...

Searching the net for handmade folders,,,, and higher end production folders,,,, Chris Reeve knives brought me here(link on their website). After browsing their section, started reading in the Busse forum,,,,@ the time never heard of Busse. The opinions and praise of the Bussaholics and all the pictures made me want one,,,,, and like Lays potato chips,,,,, YOU CAN NEVER EAT JUST ONE. Don't know where it will take me or if it will end,,,,,, but I know it sure as hell won't end with ONE..... maybe ONE of every One ever made :D

Went from Cold Steel (which I still like some of) to looking up knives and running across Swamp Rat. Found this forum and a link to the gallery with the SFNO in it. I was ruined at that moment.

Damn,,,,,, I typed all that an Guyon pretty much said wot i said with one picture,,,,,,,,,, rofl

I learned of them from the skeleton add in Soldier of Fortune. I handled a few at gun shows, A-2 Badgers and such. Should have snagged a few.

I didn't get exposed to them till I stumbled into Bladeforums, looking for a deal on a Spyderco Military, and then to the crazy knife beaters over in the Busse sub-forum.

Never left :D

Had a bad year about 2.5 years ago. Real bad -- no details needed.

By that time, my hobbies had all died, sacrificed to my job. And I didn't have much time to spare (still don't).

What to do?

It was serial killer or a new hobby and the hobby won. :)

Don't recall how I came across BladeForums, but I do recall a short bearded guy from the Chi-town area with a big smile and an incredible knife.

...and so it goes.;)

I was on a journey through the desert when I had a vision.

My spirit guide appeared in the form of a big HOG!

My spirit guide told me to go and sell my worldly possessions, my blood and get a second job.

My spirit then told me to find my way to the trough..... It seemed drunk, and was smoking a cigar... then it farted and I woke up on bladeforums.

That is how my quest for the perfect knife began.
