So, how is the warranty service on ZT/Kershaw knives?

Final update on my 0560, it looks like they had sent it and its on its way back to me! the great thing is that I live in the Seattle area and the delivery is by tomorrow! l cannot believe that I'm so lucky that ups takes only one day delivery from their factory! I feel so bad for the email's ive sent them. They're great and I now know not to doubt them again. I cannot thank Steven enough for replying to this man's ridiculous emails! Kershaw is something to be praised about, they're the best company ever! I cannot thank them enough!
 
I'm still waiting on mine. And waiting, and waiting. Kinda disappointed, ill be honest. I live in Oregon, so I was expecting a super quick turn around time. It's been a month for me. Oh well.
 
You should definetly email them, even though they say 4-6weeks, it should be a obvious fix to replace the knife if its lock rock. or go to their center if you're close enough! if I lived in Oregon, I would visit for the sake of seeing the Kershaw HQ! :)
 
Got my 0560 back, everything is perfect. funny thing is though I got one of the "imperfect" 0560's. I got a 0560 with "EL MAX" instead of the "ELMAX," which I don't find all too annoying, gives it a little charm and character! I'm glad to have this back at my side now, and its ready to be EDC'D once again :)
 
My beloved Kershaw with a Japanese Kai blade finally succumbed to years of hard work, and the blade snapped. It was a surprise, but had I used it long, hard and forcefully.

I wrote Kershaw and was told that they would replace the blade with a Chinese blade. When I expressed my disappointment with a Kai blade being replaced with a Chinese blade, they said, I could order another knife from them at 50% off their retail.

Big Deal. That is still higher than what I could get any of them for on Amazon, so the warranty is worthless to me.
