So it now costs $30/year to post WTS knives?

For the amount of paid hours that I’ve spent on the forum while working, the $30 a year for gold pales in comparison lol. (Do NOT tell my boss!)

The Gold Membership cost is well worth it to me. I have had an interest in knives since I was a little kid. Before the internet, I thought that the only knives being made were by Case, Schrade, Old Timer, Buck, and a few others. This forum opened up a whole new world for me. I had no idea that there were so many custom knife makers, or quality mass production knife companies; Spyderco, or Benchmade for example. This site has helped to enable me in sampling what's out there in the knife world; both through buying knives or reading reviews and opinions of other members' knife collecting experiences. I can buy knives that appeal to me, and if they don't fit my needs, my Gold Membership allows me to post them for sale. The Gold Membership enhances the hobby. Thank you, BladeForums.

Yep. Back in the olden days, folks used to pay $30 to subscribe to a magazine that came once a month. Bladeforums has way more information in an interactive platform that you can read every day.
