It's a Bali-Song Cutlery 400 series (like the 402). A 4" bowie blade ground by Jody Samson. It's a freakin' awesome balisong, no wonder Chuck wants it (I know I do).

It is not a 400 series.. looks like a custom to me. and it seems that the bidding has become quite.. serious..

many knife companies back in the day 'commisioned' bm to make numbered runs of their custom blades. Since it took so long to make custom balis knife catalogs 'pre ordered' a horde of customs for indecisive customers who didn't wanna wait. MOst of whicih were marked.

It really sucks all the way around because if you don't have the sellers e-mail address, and eBay yanks the auction, you're probably screwed anyway because they will usually sell it to the first person that contacts them whether they were high bidder or not; I speak from experience!!!

The seller will have a greater idea of how much interest was generated and how much more the item is worth than they thought..........
