So She Says...

Howdy All,

For those who might be wondering what she picked, I apologize. We got a little sidetracked with the arrival of this thing...

Our first granddaughter! :):):)

But, things have settled down and she picked out her knife. I ordered it this evening.

Stay tuned...:p

And looking forward to seeing the new lady knife :thumbsup:

The time has finally come!

I apologize up front for the less than stellar pics but had a minute and wanted to post while I had time.

Her favorite color is red so she picked out this one...

It really is a beautiful knife. The fit and finish is very good and it's rock solid but not overly stiff. The Cheetah is a pretty substantial knife. Very cool. And she loves it and has informed me to, "go ahead and sharpen it up before I put it my purse." :)

Thanks everyone for coming along on our little journey. :)

Congratulations. A new granddaughter is a wonderment. I got one last April, and she is just swell.

Conchita is kind of a lukewarm knife knut. She favors Case knives as gifts for her kids, but only has a couple of her own. I bought her a Case commemorative trapper of some kind at her insistence, even though I have no interest in trappers or commemoratives. Apparently neither does she, as ii just sits in its tin box. She does carry the seahorse whittler that I bought her. In smooth persimmon bone, it is really quite gorgeous.

The only knife of mine that she ever co-opted to her own use was a long-bladed Mora she likes to use in the kitchen.

Over the years, she has given me several knives, a couple of which which served to kindle my current interest.

Well, I got it all sharpened up and she has now informed me that she likes it so much she doesn't want it getting scratched up in her purse so she wants a slip for it.

Reckon I'll email @knifeswapper on his website and see what he recommends. :)

Humph...Boy I don't know. I mean, I went on the Collector's Knives website and sent an email to verify the size slip I should get and it took Mike like an entire, I don't know, twenty minutes or so to get back to me. I mean twenty minutes to answer an email with a question that was already clearly answered on his website on a Sunday morning, Super Bowl Sunday morning...? I mean, is this the standard he's set for his business?

:D

Order placed Mike! Great service. Thank you!
