Thanks. It sucks because I really like the knife and just recently got it, but I’m sure it’ll get taken care of fairly quickly. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Curtiss customer service and warranty work.Man that's a bummer. I hope You get it up and pocketable again super quick

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!He doesn't know his own strength. Of course, he's not el gigantor...
I put it in my pocket. . .Brutal! Can I ask how it happened?
Their warranty/CS is supposed to be really good. Short of purposely slicing it in half or blowing it up, he’ll take care of it regardless of whether you’re the original owner or not. I guess we’ll find out. I think the screw hole on top is stripped as well because I had a hell of a time trying to remove that screw.Oh hey, what's up, my internet brother!

I tried emailing Curtiss and they said to send it in. I haven't followed up yet, seems like it should be easy enough for them to send a clip without me having to send the whole knife in? Seems to be a common issue with Curtiss clips. What's their service reputation? If I send it in, should I be concerned I won't get it back?
I put it in my pocket. . .![]()
I can think of a couple makers where that sort of response wouldn’t surprise me.CS: excuse me sir, flexing the clip, to put it in your pocket, voids the warranty!!!

Do you recall what the turn around time was more or less? For what it’s worth I had a wonderful warranty experience with Curtiss.
Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard too from multiple sources. Very down to earth dude.Couple weeks if I recall correctly. I don’t remember him giving me a shipping notification either. It just showed up one day.
My knife had terrible lockstick. He doesn’t communicate much but I remember calling him with a question. He answered and we talked about knives for 15min. Down to earth guy.
