So, this sucks....UPDATE!! It don't suck no more!!!

Happy ending! Question- Is the Paramil diff from the paramil 2?

Yup, it sure is. Not that there is anything wrong with either, I just prefer the Para 1. I don't have to switch my clip around, no holes to collect lint, and it just feels thicker.

Plus, its squared all the way down, instead of tapers in the handle.

Read this thread the other day and was super-bummed. I even read it to my wife and she was sharing in my disappointment. Delighted to hear you got it back!!! Congratulations! Now never let 'er outta yer sight again! ;)

Very cool. This has almost inspired me to go out and pull up the floor-carpet in my Wrangler - I'm pretty sure my SunwayMan M10R flashlight fell in between the carpet and the floor some time ago and I've tried digging around without completely removing the carpet but never found it (did find my CRKT M16-14SF, some money, a watch, and several other small odds and ends, so I'm pretty sure its under there).

I think that worker who found it deserves a nice tip for finding it.

I gave him a BNIB Kershaw Skyline. I picked up a few a couple of weeks ago. I was wanting a sharper point than my ZT350 has, so I just happened to grab on out of the cabinet that morning. He was thrilled. Said he had never seen a knife like that, and was very happy with it. So was I.

That right there is what is so cool about the knife-nut community.

I hate losing things, it just plain sucks and in many ways. You feel like you just lost money or some valuables, you feel like you may be losing your mind since you can't find it, and if it is really important you feel like you lost a part of yourself. About 10 years ago I thought I lost my most prized possession, my Vic boy scout Tinker my Dad bought me. I looked everywhere, fortunately I found it a little while later; I rarely carry it nowadays in fear of losing it.

Anyway, that is such a great story Moose, I am very happy to hear you found it; if I lost my Para 2 I would be pretty crushed too. Also good to hear it is still in great condition, give it a little love and it will be back ready for work.

Now for my sad story- 3 years ago I lost my Cold Steel medium voyager in clip point, with a plain edge. It was my favorite knife. I had carried it everyday, and it was my perfect EDC. I lost it. No idea where it went. Still miss that thing, nothing ever replaced it.
End story.
Now, moose, you need to throw an orange lanyard on that thing and hide a GPS tracking chip in the handles.

Look at those secrets about the new Becker tweeners on that piece of paper in the background. Real smooth, Moose. :D

JK. Seriously though, glad you found the PM1, man. I read this post at first and remembered how bad I felt about loosing knives. I've got the PM2 and it's great. You should try holding one if you havn't.
