Thank you, and to everyone else. It's been a difficult adjustment having worked with him for nearly 20 years and having lived with him the last 5.

My birthday is in a week and a half, thinking I may ask for a Civivi Appalachian drifter 2 in cf/snakeskin micarta.

I've still got a couple more small fixed blades to get and then I'll go back to buying a couple regular sized fixed blades (4-5"). Unless something on the "buy when available" comes back in stock at the stores I regularly buy from or there's a sale too big to miss, I'm going to try to stick to a plan of 4-5 more fixed blades for the rest of the year, after my first quarter knife buying binge. It would take a pretty big sale on very specific MKM, Viper, Spyderco, or Zero Tolerance knives to make me break my folder fast right now.
 
I buy a lot of knives so even tho I sell a lot I’m always looking to try out something new. Lately I been thinking about a Spyderco Shaman. Heard a lot of good about it so it might be worth trying

NEXT?

I need a new Leatherman Wave. I hesitate because my cash-flow is now just a trickle and there are always other priorities, wife's birthday, grandkids birthdays etc. And I have other interests, namely photography with vintage film cameras.


So lacking a winning ticket, . . .no Wave.
 
Ordering a Microtech Ludt through their Service Personnel Program, next production run is 3 to 4 months out so I'm on a waiting list for that. Not in a hurry to buy anything else right now but kicking around ordering a CF/S90V Bugout through the Benchmade custom shop or a Quiet Carry Waypoint or saying screw it and finally buy a small CRK PJ Sebenza 31, probably one of those 3 is next and I'll be done for awhile.
