  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

So...what did you miss by not going to the gathering?

mistwalker , the short time you spent working with me changed my life forever and i will never forget that . thank you so much . next time you see me i will hopefully have alot more than the firebow drill worked out. ive got a minor surgery this weekend so if i dont get a chance to work on it more thursday it will have to wait a bit .

Cool man, always glad to hear I had a positive impact impact, glad I could help. Looking forward to seeing you have that bow drill mastered later, then we can work on other things like flint and steel. Hope the surgery goes well man!

Awesome photos. Be nice to have some names with faces. I recognize many, but not all.

I ended up with waaay fewer shots than I thought I did, and that's because there's just too much awesome at the gathering to even begin to capture on film from one angle. It was *too* much fun. and so much learned, that I'll be posting new threads for weeks about what I gleaned and want to share.

Such great pics! They really capture the feel of the weekend.

To all the folks that were shooting photos: Let me know if there is anyway I can get/buy the hi-res versions of Gmoneyluv-ette (Christine) shooting. I know she would love those images!

Again, great pics of a wonderful event!

Nice pics Pointy.

Thanks a lot, I always thought I sucked with a camera :D

Please feel free to help yourself. I left everything public, so you should be able to get them at max. res. Barring that, email me with your email address and i'll be glad to send you what I have.

Man I feel a pilgrimage coming on. Maybe CamH_16 can arrange an Aussie invasion one year. ;)

Great pics Pointy. Man I loved that skillet of Ethan's, and I really need to get there earlier next time.

A couple I didn't post before....

Thanks for the pics guys! The kitchen knives close-ups Chameleonbear got have served to make me extremely impatient. The handles have some well thought-out design that will assist with not only fast prep but nice detail work.

wheres the pics of me whamming the 16 ? it was at night by the fire but i forget wich night .

Not a lot of people try to take pics at night, I wasn't there or I would have some.

I have a project I'm going to be starting on in about three weeks (after Blade) you interested in playing around in the woods a little? If you have snake boots it would be a plus :)

Great shots!!! In the fire fire pic what's the round brown (heh heh) can with the square holes? a small smoker? a critter cage? a morton's salt armored container? :)
