So what do you rat packers do for a living?

Retired NYPD did two tours in Iraq as a reservist. Now im a PI and a Fugitive recovery agent (Bounty hunter) and a pain in the ass to my wife and kids.
 
I work in quality control at a major appliance manufacturer for the bills. For the fun, I have a high end art studio where i make pens, knives and multi piece sculptures from wood. Once in awhile I custom paint. Mostly just like working in my studio....
 
I work in Aircraft salvage...... I use to go on the Road and pick them up when they Crash but now I moved up into Sales.
Fun Job, been all over Texas and lower southern part of the US ;Seen alot of nasty stuff as well....Still do Daily
 
Production manager at a Restaurant. I play with sharp kitchen knives all day and have progresses my obsession into folding/fixed blade knives.
 
I'm in IT. I design and implement information/data-management systems for a large pharmaceutical company. Been doing web application/software design and development since 1998. Used to teach software design and development, too. It's a living.

Before this I was in the US Army Infantry.
 
Used to work in nightclubs and the music industry. Now working with the family business. We manufacture and wholesale housewares, bbq tools and many other items.
 
I'm retired USAF, currently working as a Telecommunications Specialist for US Customs and Border Protection...
 
full time accounting for a large university. part time outdoorsman (bowhunting, fishing, flyfishing, camping, hiking, you name it).
 
I work in the Information Systems department of a major financial data/news firm. I do development, business analysis, and project management
 
i'm a law clerk at a firm, aka gofer aka IT person since noone at my office can operate a computer very well.
 
I work in sales for a UK job board and then when I have a bit of time I distribute ESEE's fantastic products in the UK along side an up and coming French custom knifemaker that I am hoping to bring to blade next year so you guys can check out his work (www.bastinelli-creations.com).

I don't see the second as a job really, I could do it 24/7 and almost do some days :)
 
i print labels for a major poultry company and run a small signs/graphics operation on the side for some extra money.
 
Did Demolition/Heavy Equipment operator for a few years, just started working as a Car Sales Rep. for Suburban Ford in Sandy Ore, come see me if you need a new rig.
 
Worked in IT as a programmer/analyst for 25 years, but the economy killed my employer's business. Now I work part time installing Lexmark printers and spend the rest of my time applying for IT jobs and whittling away at my savings...
