So what do you rat packers do for a living?

Six yrs USAF, 20 yrs USPS

God I'm sorry.

For myself, did 14 years USPS casual in all crafts and buildings, been "in" as a Clerk the last 4 years, run the bounce around of Bids for that (including a regular city bid on the window...with less than 2 years in, go figure), got excessed a year ago and been humping DBCS's on Tour I since.... Transfer out of town to Carrier in a level 22 AO goes through in 3 sweet glorious weeks....go from a drive of 67 miles to work, to 2. I. Can't. Wait.

Two hours of V time is justification to buy an ESEE3 :)

I'm a "displaced" forestry worker.
Been rusumeing for a few weeks to no avail.
Recently heard some places that I've taken resumes to are looking to hire so my fingers are crossed.
Daddy needs a HEST/F!!!!!

How much i like my job, I envy those that work in the great outdoors.
Driving around in a truck wearing nothing but panties and playing with knives :p

I work per diem as an aid in Hartford Hospital. I just finished my bachelors in Allied Health and I'm currently filling out applications for physician assistant programs. It's been a lot of work going back to school at 40.

Like what I do thou :)

I'm a Professional Forester. For work I get to go and play in the woods of BC. Although I'm behind a desk a lot more then I used to be, when I go out I always bring sharp things with me.

Prince George. Where aboots are you, eh?

(throwin' some Canadian accent in there for the spectators)

Systems engineering for a large defense contractor working on one of the largest missile defense programs in the country. My work takes me to some of most remote US military bases in North America and Greenland.

Just passed 30 years at the company week ago Wednesday, so now if someone really, really pisses me off I can tell them to go pound sand and (mostly) get away with it.

I'm a chemical analyst for a small environmental laboratory here on the coast.
Been quite busy these days...

I'm your neighbor in the north, Dawson Creek. Sucks aboot the state of the forest industry, but it looks like it is turning around. It appears like there are plenty of consultant type jobs on the Canadian Forests website in PG. Hope you find something soon and get that HEST!

I'm a tire jockey :(

Hopefully not as a career, but I've really sort of lost any real focus on the future, and can't think of any goals. My personality type makes it hard to just up and switch to a different job if I don't have a specific goal in mind, so I've been doing it awhile already...
