So what kind of wristwatches are popular on this forum?

ferret,

thanks for the feedback...wheels in my brain are starting to turn.

oupa,
Is it possible that you had an early Wenger Swiss Army watch? It seems that they're quite conscientious about including their name as well as their logo on the watches they market today, but who knows if that was always the case. At any rate, the Wenger logo is certainly more of an oval shape than the Victorinox shield-like logo design.

I am unsure.
The logo is oval and the + is silver, with a silver laurel wreath around it.
No name though. Just "Swiss Army".

It does sound pretty cool...but I don't know if you are waterproof to 30,000 ft. ;)

But I love the idea of silicone fluid inside the watch.
Are there any less $$ watches that have that feature?

Definitely not.:)

As for a more affordable silicon filled watch, take a look at the SDW Hyperbar. These watches do have a fairly prominent air bubble visible in the crystal (which the EZM2 doesn't have), but the depth rating is just as impressive. Their entry level model is pictured below and can be had for about $200. This site also has lists several other models:

I'm not rigged up to post pics just yet, but I wear a Seiko Titanium, a fairly plain, slim model. I don't like heavy, bulky watches. That's why I like Titanium so well.

My dress watch is a Citizen Eco-Drive.
