So, what knife are you using to shred Christmas presents this year??

I love being the guy everyone asks for a knife during Christmas. You get to watch your edc shred packages, and as an added bonus, at least one person comments, "Damn! Thats a sharp knife!" I just got a new blurple Native 5 SPECIFICALLY to use on packages this year. Kind of a ridiculous reason to buy a knife, but then again, I've never really had a good reason anyway. Can't wait to annihilate some of those obnoxiously over-wrapped gifts (appreciation aside.) Anybody else want to share what they're planning to use, or what they've used in the past? I thought this would be a fun idea for a thread! :D Merry Christmas Bladeforums!!!

Very nice. I'll probably use this combo for Christmas. Chaparral for the packages. Are we weird?:D

I'll more than likely use a SAK as that is what will be in my pocket. On the off chance, I have something else in my pocket, I'll use that. That Native 5 is really nice by the way. Maybe I should use my Native 5? Basically it is not something I think about. Just another cutting chore.
 
I'm a use my pe lil matriarch that I got as an early Christmas gift to open other gifts.

Hadn't given it any thought but now you mentioned it I think I'll strap on my Buck 119, biggest knife I have. Should be fun.
 
What a fun idea for a thread!

I normally grab my Gerber EAB because I can slice wrapping paper neatly and really go to town on any cardboard with it.
I will still have it this year but, my new love, (a Benchmade 531) will have most of the chores this time.

BTW, that blurple Native looks fantastic. Please drop me a note after you have used it for a couple of months, letting me know how it is working out. I want a Spyderco in my collection and what I have tried just has not worked out. Maybe the Native is a possibility.
 
Personally I'll be using my vic recruit, but everyone else is getting rough rider knives ( an extremely excellent value brand ) so they'll be able to open they're other gifts themselves.
 
I think I will probably use my Higonokami to dissect and dismember channukah presents.
 
Native 5. That tissue paper won't stand a chance against S110V. ;)

I will be shredding paper with my Spyderco PM2 camo.
Looks nice next to all the gaudy tinsel!!

Im not sure so many good choices. Could go PM2 or manix 2 in s110v or the lady bug in hap 40 i just ordered or maybe my kershaw blur s30v...
 
Suppose I'll use my Spyderco Pacific SE. That should work for removing Barbie from her plastic tomb.
