So, what knife are you using to shred Christmas presents this year??

Great thread. I actually spend a little time staring at the safe on Christmas morning on years past wondering what to take. We have all age groups with some sheeple so I always go for easy to open and no lock closing. Invariable everyone wants to be safe and close the knife before handing it back. I had a few nervous moments with the non-knife people trying to figure out a frame lock. Not sure what is more dangerous. We only usually cut tape so the blade is always sharp enough without applying much pressure so not really worried about strain on an unlocking knife.

Probably an SAK or the Spyderco Roadie

Both; or, if I'm pressed to choose only one, a Michigan pattern felling axe, 3.5 lbs.

BTW, that blurple Native looks fantastic. Please drop me a note after you have used it for a couple of months, letting me know how it is working out. I want a Spyderco in my collection and what I have tried just has not worked out. Maybe the Native is a possibility.

Will do!

HO HO hoooo hooooooo. I'm not sure just yet what I'll have on me, but these will be on the coffee table for anyone that needs to borrow a knife.

So here's a question, if you get pulled over and a cop finds that on you, do you think he sees it as a legal utility knife or an auto? I really don't know how the law would classify that! Lol. Even so, very cool. Might have to get one myself!
