So what knife will you be using Christmas morning to open up gifts with??

I will be opening gifts with a Spyderco Byrd Crossbill this year! :D Merry Christmas to all!

Combination of my Victorinox Compact & my Strider GB. The GB is overkill on most things, but that tanto point is great for destroying those 101 hard plastic cable ties that tie down 1 toy to the packaging.

I'll be using this ol' lost and found (the bottom one)!

I will be using my Leatherman wave. You never know what tools you will need to open up the toys or packaging. Already used it to setup the tree.

Plastic clam shells are ******* to open with knives. A great way to cut yourself.

Not if your knife is nice and sharp. Slip your knife into the plastic and cut around whatever is in there. It should cut like butter. Don't punch straight through, just through one layer of the plastic.

The engineering that goes into a toys packaging is unbelievable.

I have a Case red-bone Stockman that I use every Christmas, and a SAK that has the inside edge of the can opener sharpened to open up the bullet-proof, crush-resistant, toy armor that mfrs. put on packages these days. Works like a charm as a 'pull-cutter'. Somewhere around here I've got an old P38 can opener sharpened th same way, but I can't find it.

I'll have my new John W Smith SD-3 and a Hammer Brand 4-bladed Canoe in my pockets.

I'll be opening presents with my Leatherman Wave though!:D

I will be using my ESEE Izula 2, since the DPX folders did not make it for Christmas.

I'll probably take my Sage I or mini Dejavoo with me to my in laws. I may need to use one for food prep (I like cooking and it keeps me from getting into trouble....).

I'll probably use my Sage I of G10 Dragonfly at home, we'll start the fun and games in about 30 minutes. My kids are older so we can sleep in a little.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!!!

I used my edc , and the one I sleep with in in my pocket , an Elishewitz Ghost and a small pair of side cutters ( for those darn wire ties / zip ties ).
