so whats your excuse for not being outdoors this weekend?

Had to go to the Big city and shop for school clothes for the boy. Plus Tornado Alley is playing at the Omnimax and the tornado interceptor vehicle was on display.
 
My reasons are PC ~~ TV ~~ Air Cond. set on 65 ~~ play with 2 new knives I got yesterday ~~ and have an indoor grill built into my Stove when I bought it and have a Rack of Ribs to tend to later ~~ now why would I want to even open the Door let alone go out in over the 95+ heat index.?
 
Saturday, I had to go buy a new refrigerator and computer monitor. Sunday I spent most of the morning and afternoon at the housebuilding company choosing wallpaper and where the wall sockets are going to go. It was also really hot and humid here. If I had gone hiking, I would have died from swamp-arse.
 
Baby sitting, Cowboys and Aliens, pool party, dogs and beach, yard work. Several of those are technically outdoors, but not quite in the spirit of the forum :)

Hiking La Jolla canyon next week, though.
 
Too many mosquitoes and ticks. I cant stand the damn things. The heat dosent bother me much, but all the bugs that follows the heat does. I cant wait till the temps drop and fall sets in.
 
I'm used to hiking in the heat, but man it's been scorching for the past couple weeks. I even went to the mall with my wife yesterday to enjoy some free air conditioning! :eek:
 
It's too fricken hot in this part of the world (southern Oklahoma) to be playin around in the woods it's been 110-115 degrees for the past several weeks.

Sorry to hear that man. I suffered for years. Couldn't even walk on crutches sometimes and wanted to shoot my feet off. I lost 60 lbs. and quit drinking and haven't had an attack since. That was 3 years ago. I wouldn't wish that disease on my worst enemy.

I didn't go out this weekend , but will be gone ALL next week. Shooting, fishing, bushcraft , etc, etc.
Packing right now !!
