Just like the question says.... I have been slowly but surely growing my infi collection. I have a SH-e, FSH, Satin Jack-Tac, BM-e, and from the swampy area a ratweiler and a Battle Rat.
For the EOTWAWKI, I have no doubt that the FSH is the perfect knife. Lighter and more manageable than my BM, but my BM is by far the better chopper and renderer of overall destruction.
As far as bushcraft/survival knives, I am talking about a knife that can do everything pretty well: food prep, chopping, fighting, camp chores, fuzz sticks, etc. I have taken all of my knives out hiking for weekenders. The FSH and BM (and battle rat, for that matter) are too large for me to do the more mundane tasks efficiently. However, the Satin Jack-TAC for me is a pretty darn good compromise of strength and finesse. It may be my ideal outdoor/survival knife. What say the Hogs?
