So, which one of your collection would you keep

Too easy, my Benchmade CQC-7, it has been quite a few places with me , rode in my pocket everyday while I worked as an EMT, almost been lost a time or two, was a gift, and is still in great shape after 10+ years of use.

It would be a difficult choice for me now!!

At this point I think it would be my Shane Sibert Pocket Rocket.

As I have said here many times before - the one knife I would keep is a small slipjoint that was given to me by my good friend Bob Terzuola on the day we first met, quite a few years ago. The rest are just knives.

I would keep my Custom Shoppe Buck 110 with stag scales and a BG-42 blade.

I think I would have to take my WT Fuller's MOP two blade front lock.

And if I could only one of somone else's knives, that would be it.......probably the most beautiful knife I've seen.

Offhand, I'd keep my Large Regular Sebenza (for the next few seconds anyway)
Thank You, I do like it.

I would melt down all my knives and make one badass khukuri from the essence of hot steel!

As an afterthought: every time someone starts a thread like this (and there have been many! ;) ) I'm never sure if they are asking for the one knife that would be the most versatile or for the one knife that I would keep for reasons of sentimentality or rarity? Judging by the replies, I'm not the only one. :) (maybe the OP could clarify?)

.I just went back and counted: seven threads with this topic in less than two days?

I used to have to give threads like this some thought untill I got my Ratmandu, now it's easy !!!

An Art Washington paring knife with a stamascus ladder pattern blade, mokume bolsters and mammoth bone scales. The knife was a gift from VG.

My choice would have to be a Busse of some sort. I have a FBMLE on order, if I could only have "one" knife, that would probably be it.

I'd never get rid of ~any~ of my catalogued knives.

Do you guys realize how difficult it is to replace a collection? Even a small collection of inexpensive mass-produced knives? Happened to me once, a burglary. Lost 13 knives. It took an average of one year per knife to find identical replacements for each one.

Just to add: If someone breaks in and steals all the knives from your safe, you aren't going to have a choice of which knife you get to keep. The one you get to keep is the one that wasn't stolen because it was in your pocket and not home at the time.

Probably one of my customs.... i've got a few to choose from so it would be my LUK.....
