SO I finally got one in my hands; wow nice knife.
But at that price I would be afraid to loose it or even use it.

How many of you Sebenza owners actually carry it?
From many "for sale" posts on this site it seems many are never used.

I love the knife but I think I would rather own 2-3 Benchmades instead of one
Sebenza.

My small Sebbie is in my pocket now. Just having it there means I am "using" it.

Enjoy it. It's not made of glass.

I have a large unique graphic that I carry and use most often then not. It is my one and only and I like it a lot.

I've been carrying and using a Sebenza as an EDC for 5 years.

I’m carrying my large, decorated, regular Sebenza today. This sucker cost me over 400 smackers! I have to admit that I baby it to some degree, but I do use it. Just a couple of minutes ago, I cut up a cardboard box to throw away.

Last year, I tried selling the Sebbie when I needed some fast cash. No one expressed interest in it though, and I wasn’t going to lower the price, so I quickly took it off the market. I ended up selling a couple of cheaper knives in its place and figured that I might as well use the Sebenza now.

Although I do miss those other knives, I’m glad I kept the Sebenza. The more you use it, the more you come to appreciate its design and utility. It’s not my only EDC; there are less expensive knives in my carry rotation too. At some point though, I think it’s natural to favor quality over quantity.

I am terrified of losing my Sebbie. I'm not sure why though. I bought a pair of $350 sunglasses about 10 years ago that I was equally terrified of losing. I have lost A LOT of stuff since I bought those glasses, but I still haven't lost the glasses.:p

I rotate but I carry this one clipped to my pocket with keys and change!

And this one, this is what it looked like new, but keys and change have taken it's toll, I should probably send it in for fix up. :(

I carry a large or small wood-sided regular Sebenza every day, depending on what I am wearing. I carry a full-sized Sebenza classic when I am planning on more hard use. I have owned and used the classic for four or five years. I must admit that when I carry either wood Sebenza, nothing else goes in the pocket with it.

carry my small regular everyday along with my calypso jr.

Wow, same combo as me! I don't carry both at the same time, but the Sebenza gets Monday-Friday duty and the Calypso Jr (SS handled version) gets the weekend run.

I've been EDC'ing the Seb since July '04. I admit that I don't "use" it much though. Most of my cutting gets done with the ubiquitous SwissChamp.

Can't imagine having a Sebenza and not carrying it. I have quite a few and rotate them all, including my higher end ivory and Damascus small classic. Currently either my small classic micarta or large tanto NICA limited.

My Sebenza is my most carried EDC out of all of my knives.

Once the scratches start, then there's no turning back. A touch up here and there on the blade and this thing will last for many years.

It just fits.

I carry my Sebenza everwhere. I am a machinist and use it at work everyday. It opens packages, deburrs aluminum and even opens the occasional beer bottle. Nice trick.

I EDC my small sebbie, and use it too. Light prying, box cutting, it handles everything with ease. The clip has picked up a few scuffs and a shiny spot, but other than that it still looks great. Touch it up on the chromium loaded strop once in a while, it does great. I love bg42:thumbup:

I've carried my small regular for just over a year now and I use it for everything that needs to be cut. I enjoy having a nice knife to use, but i *do* use it.

Enjoy your new knife!

I carry a large classic almost everday.

Prior to that I carried a small 'solar wind' for 3 straight years.
