So who bought a large and wished they got a small?

I have owned several large and small Sebbies. I frequently carry a small (either a regular or micarta classic) and never carry a large.

To me, the small is big enough to handle any job I need a folder for, is easy to carry, and does not print as a weapon the way a large would.

I usually carry my small micarta BG42 in the leather pouch during the week, and clip the large swedged regular BG42 on my pocket on the weekends. I have a few similar sized Bucks (also BG42, go figure) that like to creep into the rotation on occasion as well.

I started with a small regular, and loved it. Later got the small micarta and large reg at the same time, and the small regular never saw any action after that. I REALLY think it all comes down to what fits your hand better and what you feel you are comfortable with. I would trust any of them to handle just about any job that I could come across. The large definately feels like a tank compared to the others, and its just the grip it gives not the solidness of the knife itself, but if I had to go with just one it would almost definately be the large swedged regular.

If you are in an office environment all the time and rarely make it outside, the small will be more than enough and won't make so many people think you are crazy. If you work and play outside all day long all the time, I would go with the large.

Man, that swedge makes it look like a completely different knife...is it functional or cosmetic?

except for opening stuff that doesn't need much of a sharp edge, another function for me is that it can be used on a firesteel to make sparks.

I have a small regular, and lately I have been thinking about a large one. Maybe a used BG42

I recently changed the order for my first Sebbie, a 21 with Micarta inlays, from a small to a large and asked Heather to add a swedge. I didn't know that the Classic and 21's did not have that option because of the blade shape. I felt/feel like such a neophyte in the CRK world.

I feel like Goldilocks

The large it too large.

The small is too small.

Where can I order a medium?

FYI, I had hoped the new big Umnum..... would have a 'medium' size version. Maybe one day??

Decided on a small. Purchased a small. And now I am glad that I did; for EDC or anything else for that matter. But that is just me, mileage may vary.

Funny... I'd like larger! How about 3.98 inches of blade? That would be outstanding!

The large sebbie is about as small a knife as I'll carry.
