Sodbuster...and lots of them!

Anyone make sod buster with a back log instead of the liner lock? I know Eye Brand did and maybe Rough Rider.

A simple, very well-made and effective worker. Tough yet attractive. What we all were in youth....? ;)😻😆

In response to Rsmith_77 Rsmith_77 's earlier comment, I posted the following photo collage of a Case Sod Buster #2138, showing the knife I received from a seller in the bay. As you can see, it was rough. I believe it had been worked hard in its previous life. The knife still had remnants of grease and grime on it, such that I transported it in a zip-loc bag to the park for the initial photos.

It has taken a while, since I do all of this by hand, but I'm pleased with the refreshed version of this knife. Yes, it does still show a few nicks and dings, but that's okay. This knife is not now, nor will it ever be a collector's item. It will likely always be a simple hard-working knife. It walks - It talks - It cuts. What more can I ask of it?

As near as I can tell, this knife was manufactured along about 1967-69. It will now join its little brother, a Case Sod Buster Jr #2137 from 1981 that was given to me by a friend and former co-worker - group photos to follow.
I really enjoy refreshing these old knives. I don't restore, I refresh.
