Sodbuster Simplicity!!!

This is the one I really would like to have but I keep forgetting. Once my M4 BM 710 comes in I will add a yellow cv jr. to my collection. I really like traditional patterns a lot!

Nothing will outpocket my small seb though, sorry guys. :D

love my soodie jr,,,been edc it everyday for about 3 months now,,,love it,,

Does anyone know who make the thinnest bladed production sodbuster? I love my Queen soddie after I rebeveled it but its on the thick side and doesn't go through stuff like apples smoothly.

The only ones with which I have experience are Eye Brand. I have a large stag-handled one, and two small ones. They have really good full flat grinds with very thin edge bevels, similar to my Opinels. My Queen knives are thick and clunky in comparison.

Hate to be the only negative guy posting in this thread, but I don't like sodbusters. I bought a yellow CV Case Junior Sodbuster a few months back to see how I'd like it, after reading so much praise for sodbusters. The blade shape is far too blunt for what I use knives for, too much belly. The build of the knife is too weak. Just simple cutting chores, opening up cardboard cartons, cutting house wrap, sharpening pencils, etc, left the blade with a quarter inch of side to side play. Much more use and it will probably fall apart. I have had much better luck out of the scout/camper style knives from Case and Camillus and Victorinox. No big deal I guess, everything aint' for everybody! ;)

Maybe the Queen Sodbuster? It has a "pointer" blade than the Case soddie.

I can see your point on the blade shape. But something had to be wrong with yours to have that much blade play from simply opening cardboard cartons, cutting house wrap, sharpening pencils, etc. You should send it back to Case:
