Yeah, I also think is a great combo and they pair well , the straight edge of the lambsfoot with the big belly of the soddie

The only thing I have to contribute to this thread is this $7 no-name “work knife” made in Pakistan. It’s very solidly built, actually, though I’m conditioned to believe the steel must be inferior.

I've enjoyed seeing and learning about the different examples posted of this popular pattern ( sod buster , sodbuster and also known by other names as well depending on brands, country etc )

CelloDan I'd actually contact CASE about that cv/ss slip up, I mean it is a competence thing and they probably would want to know. You might get a freebie who knows?

Queen Cutlery's Country Cousin in D2. Their delrin is more egg yolk colour than CASE's sulphur. It also has a more pointed tip to the blade, these are really amazing work-knives, tough , light and stay very sharp.
