Thanks Dan. Cross that knife off the list. I know Otter offers a large hippekniep, but I don't like the lanyard hole.

Question for those familiar with the small Otter hippekniep. Is it really 3.5" closed? That's about the size of a GEC #15, and diminutive for a sodbuster. I was thinking of getting one, but not if they're that small.

The Otter is about the same size as a Case Sodbuster Jr. Otter also makes a full size version.

I don't have one that I would put above all others but I carry this one more often than any other.

That was the Mudbug that lived in my wood shed's tin roof for sometime.




It cleaned up real nice. I still have it and carry it at times.

Sweet, I once owned its twin, which was a very nice knife. I passed it on to a friend with arthritis who needed a knife with a soft, easy pull.
