It's inevitable.I didn’t want to start a new thread but I’m interested in getting peoples opinion on the new Case XR Sodbuster Jr.

I’m excited about them but they have features that get them closer to the line dividing traditional and modern. Through-blade nail nicks/holes, screw-together construction, S35VN steel and modern materials like micarta and laminated wood.
Have they crossed the line into modern slip joints or are they still traditional?

I like the way they look. Game changers? Hell nah. Everyone and their grandpa's girlfriend's hairdresser's uncle makes a modern traditional. You think CASE will do it better than Lionsteel for less $$$ in S35Vn compared to M390? I am in for a black Canvas even though they will have no crisp half-stops like a good ole DOM.I didn’t want to start a new thread but I’m interested in getting peoples opinion on the new Case XR Sodbuster Jr.
