SOG Creed

Yeah the price is out to lunch!
But the knife prices in the U.K always seem to run 2-5 times the American street price.
I have looked for it from U.S sellers but haven't had any luck.
Boker has an extensive model selection but are really underrepresented in the inventories of online sellers.
Yeah the review guy was definitely a little narrow in what he thought makes a "proper" knife, lol!

Yeah...I wish I did have that kind of money to play with but....
I looked after I read that with no luck either.
Yeah, I'd say narrow nails it pretty good lol.

Hey mistwalker, i purchased the satin finished version this week after reading your review. When i took it out of the box, all i could do was drool over this gorgeous blade. Now i`m not sure if i want to get her dirty, might have to buy a second one for safe queen duty. I can`t get over how massive the blade is,especially in the belly, and yet so sleek at the same time. As for the balance, it is superb. I usually don`t get this excited over a new blade, but this one has really taken me. I`ll probably end up getting the TiNi version as well.

Well then, I'm really glad you like the knife.

It really does handle good and flow well in the hand.

It really is a good chopper too, surprised me for a 7.5 inch blade.

A couple of videos that show the chopping and whittling a little better.

I love the looks of this knife. I really like my 1095/1085 steels (my favorite "bumming" knife is a Kabar 1217 USMC and my yard knife is a Kabar kukri machete) but this review might change my mind on having an AUS8 blade that size. Good job as always, sir. I just wish SOG's fixed blades weren't so darned pricey!

Another outstanding review. I like the choice of knives that you feature. I've been thinking about buying a Creed for awhile now.

pretty good review, ive owned a creed for awhile now, but have preferred to take other knives on trips with me, like fallkniven a1, or buck 110, ive tested it out and it performed well, but something about that little bullet thing on the pommel makes me feel like the tang is just a 1/8" thick little round full tang, but with no problems of my own during testing, and watching the way you chop the sh-t out of that black walnut, i believe the tang may be thicker than appears, does anyone know anything about the true tang of the creed?
