I wanted to create a medium size knife for some time. The idea is to have a minimal design with a simple drop point shape, nice ''belly'' for slicing and a very ergonomic handle, that works in many positions. I named it after one of my favourite science fiction novels- ''Solaris'' by Stanisław Lem...
Specs:
Steel N690 - 62 HRC (heat threated with liquid nitrogen by me)
OAL - 215mm / 8.46 ''
Blade - 95 mm / 3.7 ''
Weight - 140 g. / 200 g. with the sheath
- Handle - Stabilized mapel wood with tapered tang and black G10 liner.
- Glow in the dartk pins out of carbon fiber
- Custom paracord bead
- Leather sheath with belt loop for horizontal carry
